Course Information

Our Basic First Aid for Gunshot Wound class provides students with essential, practical skills to respond effectively to gunshot injuries before professional medical help arrives. Through hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and scenario-based training, participants will learn how to recognize life-threatening injuries and deliver immediate, stabilizing care. - How to assess a gunshot wound and identify critical bleeding - Proper application of a military-grade tourniquet - How and when to apply chest seals to treat penetrating chest injuries - Wound-packing techniques to control severe bleeding - Recognizing and responding to shock, including patient positioning and stabilization - How to maintain personal safety while providing first aid - Essential steps to support a patient until emergency responders take over

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling (More Than 72 Hours’ Notice) If you need to reschedule more than 72 hours before your course, your payment will be credited toward another available course date. Cancellations or Rescheduling Within 72 Hours Changes made within 72 hours of the course start time will result in your payment being non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies). Approval is at our discretion. No-Shows Failure to attend without notice will result in your payment being non-refundable. Instructor Cancellations If Northern Contingency must cancel a course, you may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to a future date.
