Course Information
Jet Boat Practical, a one- to two-day river-based training experience focused on safe and skilled operation in moving water. This course develops the abilities required to navigate jet boats in dynamic river environments. Training includes: - Boat and equipment safety and maintenance - Float plan preparation and communication - Jet boat handling and emergency maneuvers - River morphology and how to read moving water - Man-overboard procedures - Weather and river condition considerations - Boat design, limitations, and operational risk - Loading, unloading, and stability awareness - Fuel planning and consumption efficiency - Techniques for recovering a stuck vessel

Cancellation Policy
Rescheduling (More Than 72 Hours’ Notice) If you need to reschedule more than 72 hours before your course, your payment will be credited toward another available course date. Cancellations or Rescheduling Within 72 Hours Changes made within 72 hours of the course start time will result in your payment being non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies). Approval is at our discretion. No-Shows Failure to attend without notice will result in your payment being non-refundable. Instructor Cancellations If Northern Contingency must cancel a course, you may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to a future date.
