Course Information

Live Fire Shotgun Training, a one- to two-day practical course delivered at either a traditional flat range or an improvised range depending on availability. This course focuses on developing safe, confident, and proficient shotgun handling skills through hands-on training and supervised live fire exercises. Students will learn core safety principles and practical shooting fundamentals, including: - Safe handling based on CFSC safety principles - Shotgun operation, handling, and proficiency - Target acquisition and positive identification - Understanding what lies between and beyond the target - Shooting techniques, stance, and firing positions - Caliber and ballistics considerations based on threat - Carry methods and ready positions - Safe storage, transport, and care - Ethical considerations and responsible use - Required personal protective equipment

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling (More Than 72 Hours’ Notice) If you need to reschedule more than 72 hours before your course, your payment will be credited toward another available course date. Cancellations or Rescheduling Within 72 Hours Changes made within 72 hours of the course start time will result in your payment being non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies). Approval is at our discretion. No-Shows Failure to attend without notice will result in your payment being non-refundable. Instructor Cancellations If Northern Contingency must cancel a course, you may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to a future date.
