Course Information

The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is required to apply for your Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL – Non-Restricted). This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, use, and store firearms in accordance with Canadian law. Through classroom instruction, demonstrations, and practical handling exercises, students will learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, including: - Safe handling and operation of non-restricted firearms - Ammunition types and safe storage practices - Legal responsibilities of firearm ownership in Canada - Transporting firearms safely - Basic shooting concepts and field safety practices Upon successful completion of the course and exam, students will receive the paperwork required to apply for their PAL. Requirements for course - Must present valid government-issued ID - Must attend the full course (no late arrivals or early departures) - Please bring your own lunch and water bottle

Cancellation Policy

PAL Course Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Due to limited course seats and certification requirements, all payments for this course are strictly non-refundable. Extenuating Circumstances If you are unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies), you may request to be rescheduled to another available course date. Approval is at our discretion. No-Shows Failure to attend your scheduled course without prior communication will result in forfeiture of your full payment. No rescheduling will be offered. Instructor Cancellations If Northern Contingency must cancel a course, your payment will be transferred to a future course date.
